Dubai Road Runners is a running club that welcomes runners of any age or ability.
The club meets every Saturday evening at 6:30 pm in the car park of Safa Park Gate number 4. Click for location map. Runners can elect to run either one or two laps of the park (3.4km / lap). There is a nominal fee of AED5 per an adult, no charge for juniors or students. Each runner predicts their own time and the closest to prediction wins a prize.
Interval training sessions are held every Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm at Al Barsha park. Click for location map
Funds raised from the predictor are used to subsidies various events throughout the year. Dubai Road Runners organize around 5 events per a year from October to April.
All of Dubai Road Runners events have categories for juniors as well as veterans and super veterans.
The club is non profit making and entirely dependent on the services of volunteers.
